Turkey Trot in Lake Geneva

The Turkey Trot will be taking place at Big Foot Beach State Park, just down the road from The Cove of Lake Geneva, on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 8:30am until 3pm. The event will include a 5K, 10K, and Jr. Gobbler 1 mile race. The course will have runners embarking on off-road, dirt and grass trails in order to challenge the beginner to expert runner.
The Turkey Trot is being held to benefit the Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park.

Toys for Tots is at The Cove
What better way to get in the Christmas spirit this year then to help someone in need? Well that’s just what we are doing here at The Cove of Lake Geneva and we would love your help.
Through the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, The Cove will once again be accepting new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to the children in the community to help them experience the joys of Christmas.
The ultimate success of this program depends on the generosity of the community and their gracious donations, with not only the intention to help children in need, but to unite all members of this community.
The toy collection will run from November to December here at The Cove.

This weekend, November 13th and 14th, the streets of downtown Lake Geneva will be filled with holiday happenings from over 20 merchants! Visitors to the downtown area are invited to preview all the upcoming holiday offerings from these merchants, while musicians, authors, and artists provide a variety of entertainment. The area will also be filled with carolers and a strolling Santa!
Downtown merchants will be extending their hours for the festive seasonal event. And for the giving spirit of the holidays, bring a non-perishable food item for the Lake Geneva Food Pantry, and you’ll be eligible for entry into the drawing for gift certificates from local area merchants!
