Check out What’s Going on in Lake Geneva This October

Wisconsin Author visits Lake Geneva
This Wednesday, October 20th local best-selling author and Wisconsin’s leading authority on paranormal activity, Linda S. Godfrey, will be visiting the Lake Geneva Public Library to present a book talk and signing for her newest book, “Haunted Wisconsin: Ghosts and Strange Phenomena of the Badger State”.

Linda will present a powerpoint presentation of her newest book, which will include accounts of ghosts at Black Point Manor in Lake Geneva, as well as strange tales from around the state, from spirits in Madison to witches in Wisconsin Dells. Following her presentation, all of her books will be available for signing.

So if you are looking to add a little scare to your day, don’t miss this opportunity! The presentation will begin at 6:30pm and everyone is welcome to attend this free event.

Senior Prom by the YMCA
Come celebrate being a senior citizen at the YMCA’s Senior Prom this Monday, October 25th at the Lake Geneva Riviera from 5pm to 9:30pm.

The evening will include a dinner buffet, dessert, wine and coffee, followed by a night of dancing to the music of ‘Blazing DJs’ out of Madison. Plus, the night will include the crowning of Prom King & Queen, as well as door prizes!

Halloween Fun
Looking for something fun to do with your children on Halloween? Bring them to the Annual Halloween Costume Parade, followed by trick-or-treating at downtown Lake Geneva businesses!

The Annual Halloween Costume Parade will begin at 12pm at the Lake Geneva Museum’s Main Street Exhibit Hall. Children 11 and under are invited to participate in the Halloween Parade giving them a chance to showcase their Halloween costumes. Admission is free.

Then spend the rest of the day trick-or-treating around downtown Lake Geneva area businesses from 1pm to 4pm! Look for a ‘Welcome Trick or Treaters’ orange pumpkin in the window for those businesses that are participating.
