Get in the Christmas Spirit This Weekend Around The Cove of Lake Geneva

Enjoy a weekend of holiday celebrations during your stay at The Cove of Lake Geneva this weekend! John Powers, local renowned playwright and author, will start things off by ringing in the holiday season and reading the classic Christmas story, The Polar Express, at Caribou Coffee at 6pm in downtown Lake Geneva. Following the reading, head over to the Riviera for the festive tree lighting ceremony! Caribou will be providing free beverages, cookies will also be served. Other activities will also be available throughout Lake Geneva by retail shops and restaurants during Festive Fridays.

The Bootery – Giveaways and specials for Festive Fridays.

Brick and Mortar – Free Starbucks gift cards with $50 purchase from 6-8pm.

Clearwater Outdoors – Join Clearwater Outdoors for movie night – Nature Propelled and Christmas Story. Refreshments will also be served. Fashion show from 7-8pm.

35th Annual Great Electric Children’s Christmas Parade

You won’t want to miss this year’s Christmas parade in downtown Lake Geneva! Not only will you see have your chance to see the highly anticipated Santa Claus at the end of the parade, but word has it that Milwaukee Brewer’s slugger, Ryan Braun, will leading the parade as the Grand Marshall!

So be sure to make a trip down to the streets of Lake Geneva this Saturday at 5pm to enjoy the beautifully decorated store fronts while sipping a steaming cup of hot chocolate from the local coffee shops…and don’t forget, you’ll have your chance to see Ryan Braun!

After the parade, be sure to stick around and stroll through the town for holiday shopping and dining specials.
